Jung, Young, or Yoong?
John’s last name is Germanic in origin, and is pronounced “Yoong”
(although he will answer to “Young”). He is not aware of
any relation to the famous psychoanalyst Carl Jung. On his mother’s
side of the family, he’s a “Macdonald” of the sort
hailing from Prince Edward Island, Canada.

Fave Thing So Far...
Back in ’95 John bought a gently used Volkswagen camper, headed
West, and undertook an amazing six month 33,000 kms cross-continental
trip — across Canada, up to Alaska and the Yukon, and back down
to San Diego, with many a stop in-between. He’d *love* to do it
again — this time heading East...
